We are delighted to announce that the Romer String Quartet will perform a concert entitled ‘Romer String Quartet in Zhuhai with Baritone Alan Tsang - Romer String Quartet 5th Anniversary Concert Series’ on Thursday, 15 November 2018, 7:00pm in UIC Performance Theater. The concert, also presented as part of the Visiting Artist Series by the Music Programme in the Division of Culture and Creativity, features Adjunct Lecturer of HKBU, Dr. Kitty Cheung on 1st Violin, alongside Ms. Kiann Chow on 2nd Violin, Mr. Ringo Chan on Viola and Mr. Eric Yip on Cello. The Romer String Quartet is dedicated to promoting chamber music to the younger generation in Hong Kong and Asia and to regularly perform in Hong Kong. The Quartet has also given masterclasses and workshops in the region. The programme includes works by Joseph Haydn, Alexander Borodin and New Zealand composer Janet Jennings’s China premiere piece “In Memoriam” featuring Hong Kong baritone singer Alan Tsang.
